Pedestrian Struck Outside Maywood School, Driver Cited: Police

A 22-year-old woman was hospitalized with minor injuries after being struck outside of a Maywood school Tuesday, Oct. 15, police said.

The crash happened outside the Maywood Avenue School just before 2 p.m., Sgt. William Phayre said.

The woman was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center and the driver was issued a summons for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, police said.
